Roberto Raad is an actor, comedian, director, writer and producer.
born and raised in Barrington, Rhode Island, he has lived and performed in New York, Las Vegas and los angeles.
He attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he studied at David Mamet's Atlantic Theater program and received a BFA in Acting. While in NYC, he helped found the sketch comedy group “The Latex Bagels”.
A versatile character actor who’s at home with both comedy and drama, Roberto has brought his high energy and improvisational skills to numerous films and TV shows, including "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and the hit mocumentary movie “Marathon” (Amazon Prime Video).
He has appeared in over twenty-Five national commercials, working with directors Jason Reitman and Zack Snyder and actors John C. McGinley and recently Jeff Goldblum and clifford the big red dog. As a voice actor, he most recently voiced the role of “Telephone” on HBO’s animated series “Only You” (MAX).
He has been featured in multiple music videos, including The Killers “The Man” and was the lead in GoldBoot’s “Elevator”, where he donned a full confetti suit as the beloved character “Confetti Man”.
Roberto’s online videos have garnered over 10M plus views. In 2013, he founded the YouTube channel SlapTV, and created viral hits such as his “Leaked Farrah Abraham Interview Gone Wrong” and had several of his popular horror shorts featured on Dread Central.
While living in Las Vegas, he ran video production and social media for Vegas.com, where he gained experience both in front of and behind the camera, creating online content for brands such as MGM, Venetian and Caesars Entertainment. There he also perfected his hosting and man-on-the-street skills, and created the character “Drunk Elvis”.
He created the comedic mocumentary travel show Vegas 24, where he would experiment with the hosting format, blurring the lines between reality and fiction. Some wild experiences include scuba diving in the shark tanks at Mandalay Bay, stripping on stage with Thunder from Down Under, singing in a helicopter with Carrot Top and experiencing the paranormal with Ghost Adventure’s Zak Bagans at his Haunted History Museum.
Also while in Vegas, he co-starred in several of Youtube star Ryan Higa’s videos, most notably “Inside The Mind Of Ryan Higa” (3.8M), where he played a frustrated psychologist. Roberto also created “Raadtime” – an insane live variety show featuring stand-up, short films, improv, dance, sketch comedy and other random acts. His sold out shows were featured in Las Vegas Weekly.
Roberto wrote, directed and starred in "Alternative Therapy", which was featured in multiple film festivals around the United States and recently produced and directed short films which are currently making the festival rounds.
Roberto loves scuba diving and snowboarding, is a huge hiker and cinefile and is addicted to stand-up comedy.
Roberto currently resides in los angeles with his wife and performs stand-up across the city.
